    Hi
I'm trying to set up My DVD Player through the 505 XDE through Component Cable.
Have no Problem through Scart. but Through the Cable I lose the Red signal
My DVD is a Pioneer 575a This will be the second Cable I have tried thought the first one might have been faulty.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated

Just to make sure: Have you changed the Input menu of the Pio as well as the DVD menu to component?

I would think probably the media box. Very strange. My first thought would also have been the cable, but you can easily switch the 3 individual component cables to find that out. It could of course also be the DVD player, so I would definitely try another player before sending in your media box.
