    These are now available for around £5k, are they future proof (dvi hdtv) or are the new models worth waiting for ie Panny 50" 6 series or the new 50" pioneer when its released.

    Any opinions greatly recieved.

    They are future proof in that you can buy alternative input cards supporting HDCP - DVI, in particluar from Aurora who are currently shipping product.

    Also the Pioneer PDA-5002 Video Board will take 1024x768 native input through DVI (though not HDCP)

    However if you can wait I would hold out for a little bit longer, as for the cash youre gonna part with its probably worth it, even though if your anything like me you want it all yesterday :D

    I know how you feel Rob... I'm holding out for the HD Panasonics... The longer I wait the more I want the 50"..! Very dangerous hobby!!!
