Hello there just doing a bit of casual surfing and turned this one up -
    http://www.dvdcity.com/dvdplayer/dv444.html

The review of this player on the DVDCITY website described it as having progressive scan output is this a slightly different feature to the UK model or is this ********?

    cheers

As it's the US model then you may well expect it, as many US pieces have this for their NTSC material. Unlike UK models unless they are higher end, and in any case the UK ones don't have progressive for PAL which would be great. Harrumph.
...mean bollux, hey? So are they a bit testie??!!:p

No, you`re looking at the american spec of this model. See www.pioneer.co.uk. US models have component as standard as they don`t have euroconnectors (Scart) to offer RGB out.

    Hope that helps
