Will the 43mxe1 work with a dvd player that has dvi output or will this display not decode HDCP.

Not only is the MXE1s DVI slot not HDCP compliant it will also only accept PC style resolutions and not video ones

They do work extremely well with external scalers though and can produce a truly stunning image...the best I've seen.

A third-party expansion board is on the horizon that will have two HDCP compliant HDMI inputs but they are forever getting delayed…supposed to be available sometime early February I think now. Pioneer is also supposed to be working on an input board too but I don’t think that’s been confirmed.

    Cheers, Lee
