I noticed that 'What Hi Fi' rave about the Panasonic Viera and give it very good ratings. Yet they give the Pioneer 43 inch only 3 stars. Having seen both in action I must say I was very impressed with the HD abilities of the Pioneer, the next generation connectivity and the higher resolution.

Having seen both in shops I thought the HD picture from Astra was totally amazing. Since the Panasonics have a lot less resolution, surely they are not as good a long term investment.

I'd be interested in comments on the pros and cons of each set.

    Regards,

    ...and me.

THis 3 star business is nonsense.

I was very sceptical about the pio I had ordered and expected to have to tinker for ages.

It was the opposite - FANTASTIC.

    GO FOR THE PIO !!!
