Hi My 436 has been running for 343 hrs now, so im looking for changing my settings. I looked back at some old threads from27-10-05 and noticed some ISF settings as follows HDMI, colour-0. contast 34. brightness 0. Pro adjust settings were, dnr off. dre off . Blk level on. cti off. gamma 3. acl off.
It was also said that pure cinema was set to adv, but when I try to use this setting the tv says that setting can not be used.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks........ Mike.

Maybe that setting is embedded in the built in passworded ISF calibration section.

Copying someone elses ISF settings will most likely not work, as these are set to the other persons equipment and local ambient light etc. I'm sure Piers and others will back this up.

Look in the service menu. Access instructions are, I believe available on this site. If not google it.

Just a quick one, I know they are on the site somewhere, but can't get my search to narrow down, what settings did you use for running in?

Are there definative ones to use?

Like I said the settings are appropriate to the environment. I would say for the run in period, back the brightness and contrast levels off as much as you can find acceptable, then after about 400 hours bring them up to your preferred levels. Ideally get it ISFd, it's really worth the money.

    Mike,

With reference to the 436 instruction manual (page 34).
