Have just purchased a Pioneer 435XDE and have on order the Denon 3805 and 3910. Was wondering if the KEF KHT 5005 speaker system was a suitable match for this set up or if anyone knew of others systems that may be compatiable to my needs. :lease:

Might be worth your looking at Anthony Gallo speakers and comparing them to the Kefs. I am running A'Divas with a Due centre and a big Velodyne sub all from a Denon 3805. Lovely sounds.

thanks Piers, is the velodyne sub the VX 10? Also, the Gallo speakers look gorgeous but are'nt they in a different price bracket to the KEFs? If you know of price and supplier would be grateful!!!

The Velodyne is actually a CHT-R15, a big beast but it is a big room.

Forum rules prohibit me from discussing Gallo prices but if you email me (see my sig below) I will be happy to help out.

Aren't Gallo Micros pretty comparable price wise to the 5005? Know which I'd choose.
