    Hello laustin956

Not all DVI cables work between the Media Box and the Screen - also keep in mind you require two cables between the Media Box and the screen; you also require the 20 Pin MDR control cable.

Some folk have tried replacing the DVI portion of the 'supplied 3.0m cable to eek out superior performance - we get mixed feed back from those who have tried various cables we supply (inc WireWorld).

If your looking to add in a longer cable between the Media Box and the screen then I'd advise you test anything before you commit and most definitely before you bury cables in a wall; though I know a few folk have found this is not full proof as lighting transformers in roof spaces have caused issues with 'pre tested' cables.

WireWorld supply Three grades of DVI cable (Chroma, Ultraviolet and Starlight5) and there are different limitations on the max length you can use of each Grade between the Media Box and the screen.

    Best regards

    Joe
