Don't know if it's of any use to anyone but noticed Dixons in York (Town Centre) are selling the Pioneer 435 for a little under £1800 - seemed a good price for the high street.

Is it the FDE or the XDE?

    hi all

i am new to the forums and have the same dilemma

will i be losing out much if i shelled for the pioneer 435 instead of the 436? with the prices slashed so much its very tempting!! will i be kicking myself few months down the line as the contrast ratio is 'only' 1200:1

the other thing is i am thinking of getting the FDE, as i have no use for digital tuner (none in Ireland!!) and won't need PIP and card slot etc... is there any other difference between them?

    cheers
