Do a search on google for them and see if anything comes up. From the look of their site they arent trying to hide anything, there are addresses and phone numbers available.

I've got a feeling the QED "PACK" price is maybe a mistake as they don't list it separately without the pack.
Then again, if they do it anyway then it's a good deal I guess.

In the interests of forum members, I have to let you know that as of right now, Pioneer UK have never heard of Cheap Electricals.
I would investigate them before spending cash. Are their Pioneers grey imports?
If you're going to buy from them, use your credit card so you're covered.

I can confirm that this company do not just sell UK spec items as they state on their info page. I was looking at a LG LCD TV and confirm that at least one of the models they are selling is not a UK model.

To give them their dues, however, when I cancelled my order with them because their web page description was inaccurate they quickly refunded the money back to my credit card.

Thanks P@T - all very clear now!

Hawkinm - I have purchased many hi-fi and some kitchen items from QED. Always delivered very swiftly and in perfect order.

Friends have bought TVs with equal success. If you've got the cash and room can I strongly suggest you go for the 50 inch.

I went straight for the 50" and have never regretted it one moment. Wheras I have seen a few threads in the past of people purchasing the smaller version and now wishing they had 'gone large'.

Unfortunately unlkike 'going large' at McDoalds it IS a little more dosh - but well worth it.

    good luck

    Many thanks Huss,

fyi, QED price is for screen and stand only.
so guess its TMF or home cinema heaven (JL will stock it, but guess they wont get any of these for ages - but worth considering the 5yr warranty)

50'' and £5k+ is unwifeable - though having seen a 50'' 503hde screen in Weybridge Audio its my new mission to convince MrsH.

This is my first venture into plama, as I'll be upgrading from a sony 32fx 100hz tv - my wife doesnt want anything 'too overpowering in the room' (guess I'll have to wash my socks too).

Anyway - after securing a good price for screen/box/table stand & speakers I've placed a deposit with Weybridge Audio (local pioneer dealer) and they have several 434hde coming to them around the end of the month, once of which now has my name on it. I'll post again when its arrived.

Despite previous postings I'm happy knowing I've evaluated the market prices am convinved I've got a very competitive price, and sourcing from a local dealer feel I've got a face to turn to if things go pear.

Now just to order a few more dvd titles..........

    People,

I assume we have all been looking at the prices for these beauties, has anyone else noticed some very fluctuating pricing going on....

The other day AVLand had it for 3999, then it was 3799, now its back to 3999.

QED had it at 3691, now its 3999...

I Know that Liam has it for 4050 and If I preorder I get the stand thrown in , which may be the best bet...

But whats with the rest, whats the best price (Legit) that people have seen.

    Hello all

Strange but true (to my eyes)

Pioneer PDP-503HDE looked much bigger than PDP-433HDE.

    But:

Pioneer PDP-504HDE and PDP-434HDE dont 'look' very different.

I think its the new bezel!

The prices for pioneer new models will be app. 10% cheaper than the earlier models.I was given a price for the new pdp504hde of £5200 and I am sure there will be even lower prices than that available in november

Wow.. that is a nice price on the 504.. in fact if come December when i'm in the market they have dipped under 5k, i could probably be tempted over the 434.

Have to check them out first of course.. Can hardly wait.
