I have just purchased a PIO 434 and I have a chipped XBOX. I'm waiting to receive the MadCat/Madcow? Hi-Def kit as purchased on EBAY. I have the component cable waiting. I have converted my XBOX to output NTSC using the enigma program.

So, pretty confident I'll get 480p on XBOX games, 720p on the others that support that resolution.

However, I have read that if I use XMBC (X-Box Media Centre) to play my DVDs, the XBOX will upconvert to 720p. This sounds like a plan to me, has anyone done this before?

My current DVD player does not have component inputs, would I be better buring the Pio 575 and using it's progressive scan features, or is the deinterlacer in the Pio 434 better?

Obviously HDMI is the way to go, but I'll wait until DVD players with HDMI connectors are the same price as the Pio 575 before going down that route.

Lastly, I have downloaded some of these HDTV trailers from the Microsoft website (T2, various IMAX films). How can I watch these on the Pio 434?
