Is there a way to force 1280x720 resolution through the vga input? If not is this resolution available when connecting a pc with DVI to HDMI cable? Thanks!

If you want to force any resolutions not standard within your display settings then you need to use powerstrip!

Using the Dvi - HDMI route will give you this option in the standard settings without pwerstrip, when the graphics card detects your display!

Thats because the VGA port (on the panel) only supports standard resolutions 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 768 etc... Look in your manual!

Only the Dvi/HDMI connection will exept high resolution video formats like the 1280 x 720 which you are trying to achieve!
