    Hi Guys,

I'm calling on all you 433HDE owners, what are the ideal contrast, brightness, colour settings etc for a new'ish screen.

I've been playing about with dynamic + user setups and not really understood what's what.

So in the best interests of my new toy  I decided to seek help from other 433HDE owners.

Any other house keeping / hints / tips

    appreciated.

    cheers.

Buy yourself a THX mastered DVD with inclusive test patterns.

Eg Terminator 2 THX DVD has this.
I also have AVIA disk but as this is NTSC 525 i would advise the THX disk)

The disk expains how to setup Brightness/contrast and colour
if you have a blue filter (suppied with AVIA)

Basically you adjust brightness for dark areas of the image (blacks)

and contrast for the white areas

You could try turning colour settings right down whilst adjusting brightness/contrast.

    Secondly....

Turn off digital noise reduction. i find this makes moving images too blurry.

With my 433mxe i use power mode 2.
You may find this hard to get used too initially.
but the other modes tend to hide so much detail and can make
    the image look horribly pixelly.

Also the screen will last a lot longer if you dont over drive it.
