    Hi

I'm new so sorry if this has been asked before.
I went into John Lewis to ask about the 43 XDE.
They only do the 43 FDE and apparently will not be doing the XDE.

My question is: is there much difference between the XDE and FDE?
They said it was only the Freeview tuner.

What's the best deal people have found on the FDE for a John Lewis Price match?

I was planning on XDE, but may just go forthe FDE depending on what people think.

    Thanks!

Like you I was considering the XDE, but when I spoke to John Lewis I weighed up the differences and considering all I was after was good pq, and they both use the same screen, and the fact that JL had one in stock  , I went for the FDE.

Got it for £2699, price matched against local Currys, comes with JL five year warranty as opposed to Currys 2 year, to upgrade to 5 years was about £450

    Coming this afternoon......
