I am about to buy a new DVD player for my spare room.

I'm looking to spend around £150 and would like an established brand.

I've been looking at the AVland web site and then have a new Pioneer deck the 350 for £139. It seems to fit the bill in terms of what I want it for. Just hope it doesnt suffer from the usual year long Pioneer layer change!

Any thoughts on this model or any other suggestions?

Also anyone know the difference between this model and the Pioneer 454 - I didnt notice any aside from a few extra buttons on the deck itself

    Thanks in advance!

Performance and features of the DV-350 and DV-454 are nominally identical. However, DV-454 is fresh-up cosmetic design with a complementary AV receiver to partner it. And DV-454 includes both coaxial and optical digital outputs. (DV-350 has only a coaxial output.)

I was looking for this too
