this is a dvd / pc question so hopefully this is the right forum. :)

I have been recording seinfeld from paramount on dvd-r (standard play), and had hoped to be able to watch them on my pc as well.

However, when I insert the disk into the dvd-rw (sony dw-u14a), nothing happens !. My pc does not recognise the disk !

Am I right that I should be able to watch this on my pc ?

The pioneer blurb says that it will allow pc usage as well. Whats going wrong?

    Any help appreciated :)

    Hi

You need to finalise the disc first.

See the manual, however once finalised you will not be able to record anymore to the disc.

    Regards

    Philip
