    Hello all, needing advice,

Been reading the threads, been reading the mags, looks like the Pio 301 and the Tannoys represent good value (expecially from RS).

As I use my DVD player for CDs I'm not looking for many audiophile points, but would this setup satisy my craving for decent bass without overdue boominess in the music stakes?

I also want to benefit from a decent av experience for films, so as usual I want the best of both worlds for a limited budget (who doesn't?)

Or am I better off going for a cheaper all-in-one solution?

    Any advice very welcome.

    Thanks

    it's all subjective.
Get a demo of the kit first or even a home trial or you'll never know! It will probably be adequate for films but I found music lacked alot out of the mid range, I couldn't use it for music!
