My Pioneer 220s appears to have got confused.

I made 2 recordings in SP mode - 1st for 1hr and then 34 mins in Video mode onto a -RW disk.

I have erased the 1hr recording and expected this to free up the space and give me around 1hr 24mins of record time left on the disk in SP mode.

The pioneer is reporting only the 24mins of record time left on the disk - it doesn't seem to have correctly freed up the space after erasing the 1 hr recording.

I have had the disk out, turned the pio off then back on etc but to no avail.

Has anyone else experienced this with their 220s ?

I think it is probably the fact that you are recording in video mode on a -RW. I know that this happens on -R discs which always record in video mode, so presumably the same applies to -RW. If you change your mode to VR, this problem won't happen.
