    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the best impedence setting I should be using on my Pioneer 2011 reciever.
It can switch between 6 + 8 ohms , my Quad fronts + centre are 6 ohms and my rear Wharfedale's are 8 ohms.
On the Quad website it says the speakers can be driven using a 8 ohm amp , but will they run better with the amp set at 6 ohms

    Ta

just run it all at 6 ohms. I run my rxv1400 at 6ohms as my fronts are 6 and my rears are 8 and I have no problems.

    Thanks Dfour,

I am running them at 6 ohms at the moment - just wondered if there would be much difference running them at 8 ohms
