I know you can get different lengths of Pio plasma system cables but was just wondering if you can get extensions?

Just been trawling the members home cinemas pics and have an idea. Problem is the system cable is already chopped into a wall! Would prefer to extend than rip out!

    Cheers

    Hello huntere

The DVI portion of the system cable can be extended using a DVI Female to Male cable or more readily available a Female to Female adapter plus a Male to Male cable - though be aware the Pioneer system can be fussy and may not like the extra long cable.

The MDR20 portion of the system cable is not so straightforward - I've never seen a Female to Male MDR extension cable. If your handy with a soldering iron it is possible to have a go at chopping the installed MDR cable and inserting an extension piece - again its not easy and not guaranteed to work.

    Best regards

    Joe

    Thanks Joe

I feared that would be the case. Guess I'll have to get the Stanely knife out again!
