I am planning to set up my home cinema system this weekend.

I have the Pio DVD-686, HDE434, AX5i and Keff eggs. Everybody is telling me use cheap wiring cable for the speaker connection. They say that the signal to the eggs is far too low, therefor using expensive OFC cable will be unessesary for better sound.

I´m wondering what is best, gents share you opinion!

Thanx & a merry christmass, happu new year in advance
    :p :p

QED Silver Anniversary should do the job.

I'll hopefully have the same question soon, once I get round to ordering some new kit ...

Do the rear cables need to be to the same spec as the fronts. For example, would QED Original cable do for the rears. (It's half the price, which represents quite a saving if wiring up four rears for 7.1 sound)

    Cheers,

    Balders.

I think it's worth spending a few quid on some decent cable even for the eggs just to be sure you're getting 100% out of them.

I use Cable Talk Theatre 2 (£5/M) for my front 3 eggs and CT Flat 1 (£2/M) for the rears.

QED SA fronts and Qudos Micro for rears should be fine.

Is it possible to use different cable? on the eggs?? Does the difference between the impedance not influence the sound.

Because I, have good Cable, only not enough!!!!!!
