    Hi,

Just got the DVD player and need another compnent cable, going to get a Belden one but was curious, I currently have a long Supra AV3 going from Plasma to the Denon and as I use the Denon to handle source switching I was going to run a short component cable from the DVD to the Denon.

    My questions are:

If I'm going to get a Belden from DVD -> Amp is it worth upgrading the AV3 cable?
Am I going to suffer any loss in quality by going via the Amp rather than from the DVD direct to the Plasma?

I'm curious as to how noticable a difference there will be with the variety of routes and cabling options available to me, I'm no expert so unless there is likely to be a significant image imprvovement then to be honest I'm not likely to notice (begs the question why get a Belden but for the cost compared to some high street prices it's not really that much more)

    Cheers

    Si

Bump, as a 12 foot replacement for the Supra AV3 isn't going to be cheap and I can't test it beforehand :-(
