This disk plays on my Powerbook, but refuses point-blank to play on the 575A... It's the Secret World tour dvd, bought in Germany (also R2), and the 575 was multi-regioned when I bought it anyway... Any thoughts?

Check the firmware version by going to options in the initial settings menu and then pressing display. You might need to get it updated if it is a very early version. I think the current one is 2.09.

    Thanks Dean

Is that likely to be the problem? Mine is v.2.05... Do I really have to phone Pioneer Customer Services to get the Firmware update disc? Says so on their website.

Thanks. Burned it from the Powerbook, 575 wouldn't read the disk.. So dug out the old PC laptop and used Nero to burn the image, 575 wouldn't read that disk either... Duff player?
