    Hi

If you can go the extra bag of sand, get the bullseye. You would not regret it. It apparently has none of the faults the 434 has too. Picture dropout/sound/slow av switching.

Blimey geeza, i think im turnin' into a cockney w***er!
Oi luvva put da keetle on i fancy a cuppa char!!

The 434 faults have nothing to do with 43" or 50" screen. The issue was with the media receiver which is common to both screens. It is only because the 504 came out later by which time most of the first batch faulty media boxes have gone through.
Still a few early 504 owners did experience the same problem.

Other than that if you can accomodate the 50" go for it!

we've got the 504, as has a colleague at work.

drop outs: he's had them and his media box was replaced. he hasn't mentioned any further drop outs. we've had no trouble at all

sound? can't comment as both of us have discrete sound systems

slow av switching. yes both of us have noted slow switching.

PQ on the 50": get a demo of The Two Towers! broadcast varies from acceptable to poor on some sky channels. people on these boards have commented that sky+ is better.

are we happy with what we've got??

    YES
