PIO 435 inferior?

    I ve read somewhere that 435 is inferior to 434 regarding PQ.
    Is this assertion valid?
    I can t believe it since the display is the same product with the only difference the front glass.
    Can someone who tested both screens side by side please confirm the above assertion? :confused: :confused: :confused:

    The front glass in my opinion makes a better picture whatever what Pioneer says, there must be a reason they haven't skimped the glas on the MXE1 models for Business use.

    so you mean that there is a quality loss and it s caused by Direct Colour Filter?
    God I should go for 434. :(

    That is my personal opinion, there are positive sides also.

    You get less reflections in the screen and they say you get higher contrast, haven't noticed that myself.

    Also the removal of one layer glas makes it more prone to fan noise according to the U.S forums, maybe the glas isolates the noise from the fan more, i haven't heard it myself as i don't own a 435.

    If you like it, buy it.
