    Does the onboard de-interlacer work on any input of the MXE?
    (I need to make sure that I connect the cable box so that it gets de-interlaced)

    The display is only capable of displaying a progressive image, so yes, any interlaced signal fed to it will be de-interlaced.

    Mark, thanks for your reply. I have also received the following from Pioneer (in reply to the same question):

    QUOTE
    The PDP-433MXE will automatically de-interlace all Inputs, with the exception of:-
    1) Computer Input
    2) NTSC Progressive Component Input
    UNQUOTE

    Did they miss to mention also "PAL progressive Component Input" as an exception?
