    Hi Guys,

After weeks of pleading ;), my husband has bought me a Pio 345XDE. It has just been set up (literally an hour ago), I would be very grateful for any advice re Sky+ (as to the best setup).

I am a total newbie to all this and think I need to 'tweak' some settings, on Sky and DVD's, close up's on faces seem to lack definition?!

My husband is saying, I bought it, installed it, now it's up to you!

    HELP! :lease:

    Many thanks in advance,

Gonna Have to run it in for about 200 hours. Don't have the brightness or contrast too high over this period. Switch the power level to 'Save' it keeps the brightness down. Switch off all the fancy settings they just cause more problems with the picture. Oh and lastly use a decent quality scart and make sure you set your sky+ to accept RGB and do the same on the MR box. I wouldn't worry too much about the PQ over the next couple of weeks. It will improve vastly in that time, promise :)

WOW..thanks for the quick response. Will see what settings I've set it at.

Yes, have fairly good quality scart lead (gold plated jobbie) cost £60ish, have set Sky+ for RGB already (what's the MR box), showing ignorance here *blushes*.
