    Hi guys,

Not sure if anyone can help but I am wondering if anyone has the pin-outs for the PJ-MULTI on the back of the Sony Cineza VPL-HS1.

After looking into getting the official Sony Component cable (SIC-HS40) cable at £85 it makes much more sense to make a better quality and cheaper cable but the manual or any of my online searches have been any good.

    Thanks

    Kevin.

I have now managed to map the pin-outs from the cable you get with the projector and was wondering if anyone who has bought a Component Cable and has an electrical meter with a continuity test would be kind enough to tell me according to the attached diagram where the RED, GREEN, BLUE connections connect to.

I know this is a bit of a tall order but you will get your reward in heaven.

    Thanks

    Kev.

Has anybody managed to find out what the pin-outs on the Sony SIC-HS20 Component cable actually are? I would rather make my own they splash out £85 on one :)

    Hello to all,
from a guy that I know at Sony I had the pinouts of the pjmulti.
The following is the pinouts on the *PROJECTOR SIDE*, that comes from
the electrical scheme of the VPL_HS1, but I saw that
is not consistent with numbers that Kevin Harris posted here.

    1 nc
    2 nc
    3 nc
    4 Audio - R
    5 Blue (B-Y)
    6 GND
    7 GND
    8 Audio - L
    9 Green (G-Y)
    10 GND
    11 GND
    12 H
    13 Red (R-Y)
    14 nc
    15 GND
    16 V
    17 nc
    18 nc
    19 Y
    20 DDC SCL
    21 GND
    22 nc
    23 C
    24 DDC return
    25 GND
    26 nc
    27 C-video
    28 DDC SDA
    29 GND
    30 nc
    31 nc
    32 nc

Did anyone had any chance to update the Kevin's connector scheme?

    Many thanks in advance

    bye

    Hi,

Any idea where I would get a pj-multi plug as I intend to buy decent quality 5m component video leads and chop the connectors off one end and wire to a pj-multi plug.

    Cheers

    Dear Tim,

I'am using your info about pin out of this Sony proyector considering components connection. Unfortunatelly something is wrong and I can not see nothing in the screen, I ' am using B-Y, B-Y ang C-video pins and doesn't work. Also I used Y pin instead of C-Video pin considering luminance signal but not work, only I can see black and white image in the screen and proyector detection is s-video input, not component source. Can you help me?
    Thank you in advance,
    Best regards,
    Xavi
