    Hi,

I am looking at getting a USB pvr for my laptop. Does anyone have an views on which is better , pinnacle or Hauppage ? The pinnacle is slightly cheaper but it would appear that lots of people are using the hauppauge.

Or should i use something else entirely

    Thanks

    Steve

I like the Nebula which has £20 off over Easter, I have the PCI version which I am delighted with but they also do an USB one.

Excellent. Thanks for that. I have just read up on in it and it looks very good. I just have one more idiot type question. My sky box has an addional RF output on it ( presumably to feed the signal to another television ). Could this be connected to the nebula card and allow me to record off of the sky box ?

Im not 100% sure as I do not have Sky. I think I have seen forum posts about people doing just that.
But may be worth you visiting http://www.nebula-electronics.com/ just to make sure. Have a look at the FAQs and you could try emailing them.
