I do not fancy it ether as I’m no fan of Steve Martin. I also have hated the resent rash of updates of old series and this although not a TV series was a series of films played brilliantly by Peter Sellers.

Does anyone remember the Inspector Clouseau film with Alan Arkin?

yeah, i remember seeing it years ago. i'd seen the peter sellers one first so this seemed, well.....wrong. its was identical and as such, pointless. arkin was no match for sellers.
