to save my wife ringing sky (it's in her name)

is there a default for sky box office pin numbers.

i have sky+ (living room)and normal sky digital (sons bedroom)

i didn't input my own,so they should be standard.

    i tried 1234 and 1111,but these didn't work,and you only get 3 goes!

    thanks in advance

If my memory serves me right I think the default is something like the last 4 numbers on the back of you sky card in the box.

it is, but they changed the viewing card, and not the pins,

might be worth looking for your old viewing card, if you use your 3 goes you can unplug and start guessing again lol.

plus you can get your wife to set a password so you can both use the account, you can also say that you are your wife, the indians wont notice.

if you want, you could email sky at skydigital@bskyb.com and give them your account details and ask for them to reset your pin?

Do you think that Indian people are intrinsically stupid or that they cant tell women from men. I am indian and i am a consultant surgeon, am I stupid or do you think that I can tell men from women and it is only indians in India who are ignorant?

Do you consider yourself a racist?

    Jeez you are jumpy.

I think he meant that the phone lines don't carry high and low frequencies (limited to 300Hz - 3000Hz range) so it's often hard to distinguish a male voice from a female voice.

    OK?

(Chilpillphill whatever you do, DON'T mention the word "Scots" or we'll have an invasion!)

    ;)

Not really jumpy, in fact remarkably tolerant and believe that in most of society we have gone pc mad but I have also been physically and verbally abused simply because of the colour of my skin. I dont believe that anybody should be judged according to a racial sterotype. How come when i ring sky I can tell if it is a man or women that I am speaking to? (in India)

People just get jealous. Most British people can't speak or write English as well as you - usually through a combination of poor education and laziness. Many British people spend a fortune on foreign holidays just to make their skin look like yours. Many British people are poor - again through lack of education, laziness and a curious belief that the government owes them a salary, regardless.

Anyway, you've gotten us completely off topic here so let's just see if carl310166 can find his PIN number and his SHIFT key! ;)

im not trying to afend somone, and i don't think it takes a clever person to define a voice, just a simular acent,

Carl - the engineer who installed my system wrote the code down on the inside back page of the manual

    maybe it's commonplace

    Maybe Not
