    Having seriously enjoyed Picture This on channel 4, I remembered my stock stuff from various fights and events, ranging from extreme nights to boxing that I had forgotten about. So I trawled some stuff and came across this shot that I adore. Made me think about my composition and style as they referred to the gloves up approach as hackneyed. That said, there are only two or three stances that work in a gym/fight scenario I think.

    I am now planning a new photo essay on this very theme.

    In the meantime, sometimes I look and think 'Yeah, I took that...blimey..!' Have you done the same? The pictures I refer to are here -

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, 'hardness' is a difficult thing to recognise sometimes.

    But I recognise it in those two guys!

    And that's because you captured it.

    Jeez - I wouldn't like to be within 100 feet of those guys let alone taking their picture!

    Great shots that bring out their nature very well.
