Well i went for a drive today with the camera to portwrinkle in cornwall, then came home and took the dog to the local nature reserve. I took loads but i like these to please tell me what you think.

1, this tree just stood out for some reason it was on the walk back up from portwrinkle beach.

The tree is great - and I like the composition of the second shot but I can't figure out where the focus point is on the seat

well as im new to all this im have no idea either. when i look at number one i keep thinking the tree is a bit to light is the a way in photoshop elements i can just darken the tree.

The lightness of the bark isn't an issue for me - don't knw hat it normally looks like but there's still detail and contrast in the tree trunk so it works fine for me as it is :)

it did actually look near enough like the picture if anything the picture makes it looks a bit darker, the sun was right on the tree so took a few shots to get what i like.
