    Hi everybody,

Please forgive my ignorance but can somebody tell me what the picture settings should be. I have a Toshiba 28" widescreen and noticed that some of the writing on the ads was off screen, so I changed the format in picture settings from 4.3 to 16.9. Is it ok to do this or does the scart control feature alter this setting automatically?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

You should set the picture format on Sky+ to 16:9. When you do the the scart control will switch the TV to 16:9 and back to TV default automatically when the transmission changes. Also set the picture to RGB for best quality. Make sure you're using the TV scart on the Sky box.

Your TV should be set to 4:3 not 16:9, it'll switch automatically to 16:9 when Sky recieives a 16:9 picture.
