Yep. That is all I care about.

I need a good DVD player for around £150 - £200 that produce fantastic picture on my Sony KV32FX68?

My Hyundai DVD-320A is not cutting it.

Try the Pioneer 565 I replaced my 3 year old player with it and get great pictures and the sound quality has improved dramatically.
It was the Award wining DVD player in the What Hi-Fi awards this year and even though you are not bothered it players SACD and Audio DVD what more can you ask for, for round £200.

"I love my, I love my, I love my 565!"

(sung to the tune of "money for nothing" by dire straits)

I love my 565 as well.
£199 from Richer Sounds, although they did try and get me to buy a Limit/Cambridge Audio that was better, did everything the same and was cheeper!
I pointed out their brand doesn't do SACD, DVDA, or JPEG and that it has not won the awards, nor do people on here rave about it, so they gave up and sold me the 565.

Hi Spek also do them for this price.

Try here for the 565, for £200 and for an extra £5 you get the choise of 3 DVD to play on it.

Me thinks I should be get commission the number of people I have recommended them.

    One more question...

I saw it at John Lewis via Bristol and even though it doesn't say 'multi-region' enabled.

Is 'Unique universal playback', which I found on Pioneer's site means in another words... 'multi-region'?

I think that this refers to the fact that this player will play every format known to man or beast, including DVD-A, SACD, DVD, plus all of the copied media, such as CD-R, CDRW, blah, blah blah now available.

    Hope this helps,

    Cap:)

"Unique Universal Playback" does mean the amount of formats it plays, and not that it does multi-region.

Another really good player well worth a look is the Toshiba SD330E, available from http://www.amazon.co.uk for £79.99 in multi-region format. Price also includes delivery if you are willing to wait 3 or 4 days. Bear in mind that it also offers component output, although I don't know if your Sony take handle that or not.

Another option: Sony DVP NS 730. Offers impressive PQ at the price point.

Could try http://www.digital-point.co.uk/default.asp I bought a panasonic s 75 from them, which I would recommend (except they seem to keep selling out) as it has a fantastic picture with plenty of video adjustments to suit all tastes.

They have a number of sony dvd players at decent prices aswell which may compliment your tv though.
