Bit of advice if you dont mind.

My 5yr old Pace digibox broke down on Friday, contacted Sky who told me it cant me fixed without an engineer coming to see it.

My brother in law gave me his old Grundig digibox (as he's upgraded to Sky+) managed to get it all set up and got Sky to change the settings re the viewing card.

However, the picture quality has reduced dramatically since i've installed the Grundig box (had no picture probs on the Pace digibox) can anyone recommend anything to improve the picture?

    Please Help!

I take it you are connecting it with a scart lead.If so go to picture settings and change it to rgb and see.

    Cheers

I've tried changing the picture settings on the Services. It already is set to RGB (and connected to a RGB scart socket on my TV).

Could it be that it is an old box that the picture quality is not as clear?

It's quite possible for two boxes to be very different in the final picture they produce especially when they are from two manufacturers and use different components.
Plenty of posters have said something similar when changing from one digibox make to another although some times it could be they are just used to the image from one box and the next one beign different just doesn't look right.

Does the Grundig look as bad when used on your brother in laws system?
