Picture Problem With Samsung HT-BD1252

I posted this on the All In One System forum the other day but no-one has replied, hoping someone here has experienced this. I may have to send the 1252 back due to this unless someone can help

I am having a picture and sound issue with Sky HD and this system. If the machine is on and I am watching Sky there is a constant flicker and some short sound cut outs too. I don't need to be listening to the sound via the system either. If I disconnect the HDMI cable it is fine
