    hiya all

i have noticed some of the posts in the forum refering to contrast and picture modes on the tosh rptv's. My question is. How do you switch picture modes? And is it the same as wide, cinema etc. Also how do you reduce the contrast apart from via the on screen menu? Thanks in advance and sorry for any wincing when reading this post :)

    Thanks
    ian

The Picture Mode button is the one on the remote with a tv screen logo and a vertical line either side. Mode 1 = 100% contrast (avoid!!), mode 2 =50% and mode 3 = 30% contrast (OK in dark room)
Settings on my 32ZP18p are 40 contrast, 60 brightness and 40 colour

Picture mode 3 turns off dynamic contrast (on the sets with that feature). You can then amend the settings to suit your taste.
