Wondered if anyone could offer any advise as to why i am losing picture from my Yam RXV-1400 Receiver.
Receiver works fine with both sky+, DVD and PS2, but i also have a sony VCR connected, which works fine if the channel selected is the sky+ output being fed to it. However, if a terrestrial channel is selected, or a video is played, the signal breaks up and the plasma goes to a black screen with a "no signal" message.
The plasma is component cabled to the receiver, whilst the VCR is composite scart to composite RCA at the receiver.
I can only think that this has something to do with the receivers ability to upgrade to composite signal to the component signal required by the plasma.
Any ideas?
