    Hi all,

I recently purchased a Samsung PS42DSX plasma from Currys, and was told it had true Picture In Picture.

When I set it up, the manual said that the only combinations available were one of TV/DVD with one of DVI/PC/Component 486p. As I don't use DVI or PC that left me with TV/DVD and Component.

I basically want to use PIP so I can watch TV or a DVD while using my Xbox, so I bought a 486p component cable for my Xbox.

However, when I turn PIP on, as soon as I turn the Xbox on it over-rides PIP and changes the plasma to full screen Xbox. I can't find anything in any manual that tells me how to stop the Xbox over-riding PIP and wondered if anyone knew anything about it? I've tried Samsung but their call centre was useless.

If not, is there any hope of me being able to use the TV (connected via SCART to my NTL box) and Xbox at the same time via PIP?

    Please help! :lease:

    Thanks
