Hi all, me again! Sorry to bother you all, but I have benefited from the advice thus far!

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any good/practical photography books! I bought one in Eason the other day, but when I got it home I realised it was saying things like ("...and nowadays most cameras have an LCD screen so you can preview your images..." and "...with 3 megapixels being at the high end of digital cameras, and these are costing thousands of pounds..."), I realised that I needed something a little more up to date!!

    Thanks in advance!

PS. In case you are interested in a result from my previous post ("HELP - 350D or D70"), I have just ordered a 20D

Do I remember right in that you said you got it off EBay?

Is it coming from Hong Kong?

I've just got a SB 600 flash from HK, escaped custom charges thankfully :) and am now thinking of buying a new decent tele lense from the same person, as the used ones in the UK are going for the same money.

Enjoy it when it comes, if you're anything like me you'll be taking loads of really boring shots whilst playing round with the aparture, flash, speed, ISO, manual focus... :)

@geofftelforduk: I think you have made the wise choice there with the 20D...Although I am a Nikon D70 owner I would have bought 20D if I was able to get it at your price...Good luck...

Oh yeah, the weather is getting superb!! I am just into work (7.30am) and on my way to work there was the most beautiful sunrise!! Oh I wish I had my camera!!!!!

Out of interest (QUESTION FOR ANYONE), what are the typical settings that you would use for things like sunsets and sunrises etc???
