Where abouts are you? Why the requirement for aluminium? ( Just curious is all.. ) Ive had Acrylic done in the past but not aluminium.
Maybe worth phoning a couple of print shops around the area - they may know of somewhere locally that does.
It is quite a specialist thing to do to print onto Aluminium and make it long lasting especially if outside.. Is it just a full a3 + sized print but onto aluminium?
I would go for a mounted direct printed acrylic tbf. Printed right, they are great for an impact piece.
On looking, acrylic prints are more so perhaps, aluminium is the cheaper option. I just prefer the way acrylic prints look and are mounted. Also look good backlit too!
or will keep an eye open on groupon canvas to see how much a 100 x 70 or similar is
only thought of canvas is possible markings, dirt/ dust from garage
Whats the resolution of your camera.
Ive taken landscape shots on my blad and printed onto canvas which is then varnished and framed.
I've heard of aluminium prints but its highly specialised and expensive
