im moving house on sunday as i start a new job in cumbria. ive not got a house sorted as of yet, so im living in a B&B for the foreseeable future, and living at my parents during the weekends, so im gonna be about very infrequently until im settled, photography takes a back stage at the mo, ive not touched my camera for a few weeks, all i have to do is shoot the glitterati on saturday, and thats all my photographic chores sorted until further notice!

Well as much as I like Sean (having met him) I'm not sure boycotting the photo comp is the correct thing to do. Stevegreen has put a lot of work into the comp and it would seem unfair to do so.

I really want to enter this month but i have been very busy and not had enough time so far to take a shot. I have a shot that would be perfect that I took in Sept 04 but of course I can't enter it...

Hopefully I'll find time before the closing date.

I'm off this week so will be looking for stuff to photograph and should have an entry in by the end of the week.

You have to vote and can't vote for yourself, so you would not be able to vote, meaning your entry would be disqualified.........if you get my meaning

I know its got nothing to do with SteveG, and I'm sorry it might temporarily affect his competition, but its a way I can express my disgust at what happened.

Hey Richard,

Couple of points,

Nobody is under any obligation to enter the competition, people either will or won't, and, it's not my competition. Yes, I run it, but it's there for forum members who want to enter. If you read the recent 'discussions' about archive shots you will know the reasons why it was started

Sean resigned, he wasn't forced out, it was his decision, and yes, I was as sad as most that he decided on that course of action. It's a loss to the forum in my opinion but there you go.

As far as I am concerned, everyone is entitled to their opinion and also free to take what action they feel necessary to back their opinion up.

I have no problem with your decisions in any way, you are certainly not going to be chastised by me.

Be nice to see you entering next month
