Hello,

Basically I have one active phone line socket in my house, I have an adapter which has two sockets, one for Internet/router and one for Telephone.

I just got my Sky hd box, I have to plug the box into the phone line to activate my card to the box.

So what I can I do to connect all 3 when I only have two sockets?

Thanks for any input.

The "adapter" is presumably an ADSL microfilter/splitter. You should have one of these for every telephone device.
You'll need an ordinary phone splitter connected to your phone socket. Into that plug TWO microfilters - one for your Digibox and one for your phone and router.

(You might get away with simply plugging a splitter into the one microfilter and using it for both phone and Digibox. However, this method can load the microfilter in such a way that it can't work properly and reduces your broadband speed. However, it will do no harm to try this "incorrect" method.)

He only wants it connected for a couple of minutes, "to activate my card to the box".:)

Quite right though I wouldn't be sure about how many will read the thread.
