    Is that at www.shopathills.co.uk ?
£3499 plus Free 3 Day Delivery, guaranteed sourced from Philips U.K. not an import.
Why does clicking " info " bring up 42PF9964 details ?

Only negative point against the new Philips is it won't accept Pal-Progressive. Other than that it seems a good buy ?

    Pat,
Just checked out their site www.hispek.com
They also offer Interest Free Credit if you buy their Extended Warranty @ £995. That's quite a fair price.

is the extended warrenty worth the money ? is it a on site visit or return to base
just how reliable are plasma panels?
i think i will get this plasma now what i need is a stand to put it on as i carnt wall mount it due to the way i have my speakers & pj screen set up the plasma has to go in a bay window
i wonder if there is a ceiling mount that is about 1.8 m long then it might look better than on a stand
but if any one knows of a sexy looking stand please let me know

Pat has expertise in this area :)

Good question about the extended warranty, obviously it is covered by Philips for the first twelve months anyway so your first point of contact may be them, but the next four years may involve a return to St Albans I guess ?
Personally, wouldn't buy the warranty but for those that like the idea £995 is reasonable compared to most premiums seen.

They only sell to government bodies, educational establishments and registered charities, not to private individuals.
£3450 plus VAT and £50 delivery charge, £4112.50.

Still cheaper than expensive places like Empire though ! :D

( Empire £4254.00 inc VAT and delivery. )
