Phillips DTR 210 Set top box

Hi I am using a Phillips DTR 210 set top box and want to know if I can get it to keep to a specific channel when left running overnight? I leave it on BBC News 24 and then the next morning it has resorted back to BBC1 any idea how I can get it stay on BBC News 24 permanently?

Mine works OK, are you unplugging it from the mains or something.

No it should be left switched on all night. Are there any settings I can check - we have lost the manual!

Thinking on my feet here, would it work for you to assign BBC News 24 as your first channel on the list?

How would we assign that as the first channel in the list - we currently only have 3 channels for the purpose we are using the freeview box.

After a certain time at night BBC1 becomes BBC news . Are you sure that its not BBC1 that your leaving on ?
