    First post ...

I have a Philips 28" widescreen flat TV. When I have it in 4:3 or 14:9 mode the left and right hand edges are not straight, they are wavy. I have tried to correct this with the rotation function but it hasn't really helped (not that surprising). I have already had to replace the painter IC (expensive) in this TV which is only about 3 years old so I don't really want to spend loads more to correct this irritating but liveable with problem.

    Any ideas?
