Does anyone know if the Philips LV1400 wireless package is any good, and whether the universal remote will allow me to change sky channels, or will I have to go back to the main room to change the channel??

    Any help much appreciated!

    Cheers,
    Craig

I'm using the Philips VL1200 with Sky and it works perfectly. Change channels whilst lazing in bed :)

That's great -- how much did you cough up for your Philips and where?

I have the VL1400 which works fine with Sky, but signal quality is definitely dependent on the path between the sender and receiver. The more walls, the more the signal degrades.

As for the remote - I bought a second Sky remote which works perfectly.

Managed to get mine from Fleabay for £45, sold as graded with 6 month warranty.
