I have a problem with my Philips TV (47PFL6008). It's an older model, which stopped working suddenly. When I start the TV, it shows Philips logo and nothing happens. The LED on the front panel blinks continuously.
I have read some posts on internet forums and I have managed to enter the recovery mode, where I see 3 options. 1) Reboot 2) Upgrade from SD card 3) Wipe cache. So on internet I found an installation file: autorun_QM164E_000.016.102.024.upg. This file has ~900MB. I copy it on USB drive and I choose option 2 (Upgrade) and the installation starts. The installation is extremly slow. It takes ~1.5 day to finish and finally fails with error that the system is READ ONLY. Afterwards 'recovery.log' file is written to the USB drive with following content:
Any idea how can I bypass that readonly filesystem to complete the installation? What would actually happen, if the installation succeeds? Will it boot into the Android TV OS normally, or is there something more which needs to be done?
