With only 150 hours used.
Is it common for these things to appear as 'Ex-Lease' ?
Philips bSure SV1 (LC3131) is an 1200 ANSI lumen SVGA 4:3 panel projector with long lamp life. It was introduced in June 2002 and has just been replaced by the bSure SV2 which is identical except it is a bit brighter at 1500 ANSI
We've sold masses of the SV1 to the education market. It's very very quiet (27dB), bright enough for day time use, has a very long average lamp life - 6000 hrs - and is much better specified than equivalent projectors. Component and RGBs are standard. S-Video & composite also. Desk top or ceiling mountable, keystone correction, zoom lens. Throw distance is roughly 2 x screen width.
I know some have been sold to breweries and I'm sure that there have been quite a few installed in offices too. I'm a little surprised that one is being offered ex-lease less than 12 months after its introduction. Perhaps it was a short contract or the user went bust; who knows? If it's legit' and the price is right then you might be very happy with it.
The new SV2 is available from commercial suppliers for about £1300 inc VAT.
Standard projector warranty is 3 years with a loan projector for the first 12 months.
Thanks for the reply.
